Meet the MBA Society Executives!

Warren Mosley

Warren was born and raised in London, Ontario, but has spent most of the last 10 years living in Halifax and is happy to call Nova Scotia home!  He moved to Halifax to pursue his Bachelor of Commerce degree and never left. In his spare time, Warren is a passionate skier and loves all things outdoors.
Warren is excited to represent the Sobey MBA Class of 2019. Please reach out if you have any questions about the program or drop by campus for a coffee.

Stuart Clow

Vice President – External
Stuart grew up in the South End graduating from QEH in 2006 (God rest its soul). He got his BSc in Geology and Environmental Science from Acadia in 2012, then worked in environmental regulation of the oil and gas industry in Alberta for 5 years. He is happy to be back in Halifax and is loving the Sobey MBA Program. His concentrations in the program are Finance, Venture Capital, and Entrepreneurship.

Asma Kottapalli

Vice President – Operations
Asma earned her BSc in Neuroscience from Dalhousie University in 2011. She then went on to complete a Diploma in Dental Hygiene and has worked as a dental hygienist in Halifax, serving newcomers and residents of the HRM for the past three years. Asma has always been passionate about entrepreneurship and started her own online boutique, which increased her interest in fashion buying and merchandising, brand management and marketing. She is an avid supporter of Manchester United FC and enjoys traveling, baking, watching F1 races, make-up artistry, and event planning.

Soheil Ahmadi

Vice President – Internal
Raised in Iran, Soheil is doing his second MBA in Sobey School. Prior to the MBA, he worked in several positions in his family business in the oil-well drilling industry for three years. In his free time, he can be found playing table tennis, hiking or writing lyrics.
As Vice President – Internal, Soheil is responsible for working with the MBA Society President and other VPs, managing MBA facilities and communicating and collaborating with the MBA program team. Feel free to contact him if you have any inquiry regarding his role.

Akshita Jain

International Students Representative
As the International Student Representative of the MBA Society, Akshita’s main responsibilities include helping the international MBA students adapt to their new lifestyle and communicate their ideas and feedback to the MBA Society. She will be addressing their challenges, informing them about relevant information and organizing social events for them.

Aniruddha Kulkarni

Vice President – Finance
Born and raised in Pune, India, Aniruddha is an experienced accounting professional. He holds a bachelors degree in commerce as well as the Chartered Accountant qualification in India. He worked in a middle-level managerial position in the finance and accounting department of a large wholesale company for four years before coming to Halifax to pursue an MBA with a concentration in finance.
Aniruddha handles the society’s funds, budgets, expenses and income. In addition, he helps other VP’s in performing other tasks whenever required.

Daramfon Morgan

Vice President – Ethics and Communication
Daramfon did his undergrad at Acadia University in Biology. He harbours great qualities and passion for innovation, creativity and hard work and, is motivated to change the world. He believes in making his dreams a reality every day.


Maria Palacios

Net Impact President
Born and raised in Barranquilla, a small town in the northern coast of Colombia. Growing up to the rhythm of drums makes dancing and music her greatest passion. Despite the distance, she is well connected to her roots. She came to Halifax in August 2017 to pursue her MBA at SMU. She became Sobey School of Business- Net Impact Chapter President in Dec 2017 and is working with a great team to find different ways to make an impact in Halifax society and environment.


Nicole Macdonald
